How to Engage in Gospel Conversations
John C. Vaughn is an author, evangelist, veteran pastor, and chaplain. In this present age of Zoom meetings, texting, and social media, it seems the rising generation has largely forgotten the art of in-person conversation—particularly, gospel conversation. Written in a storyteller’s style, Vaughn recounts some fascinating conversations with various individuals from every walk of life. Whether it's a childhood friend, an unsaved brother, an angry man with a loaded pistol, a world-renowned scientist, or a soldier with only hours to live—you'll not only find these conversations thoroughly interesting but wonderfully instructive.
Vaughn pastored Faith Baptist Church of Taylors, SC, for thirty years. He is the founder of Hidden Treasure Christian School for children with disabilities, the developer of FrontLine Clubs International. He served as the chaplain of the Greenville Police Department and now serves as a chaplain with the South Carolina Department of Corrections. In 2017, John, a widowed pastor, married Carol, a pastor’s widow. In this new chapter of their lives, they travel widely, speaking and writing with a focus on “Encouraging Those Who Care for Others.”©
